Vintage South Western Zigzag II Ceramic Pottery Terry Rubin N Mexico Postmodern

  • $ 22500

DESCRIPTION

Unique zig zag piece of pottery designed by New Mexico artist Terry Allen Rubin (b.1943). Designed in the 1970's or 80's this ceramic art vessel has as its main design a red zig zag pattern path with white underside on a black background. This appears to be part of a two part series which replicates the zig zag patter.

The colors of black, red and white along with the geometric design interaction are typical of the south western style portrayed in Rubins art. This ceramic stoneware vase is signed on the side.

Incised with the artists signature on the side.

Purchased from client who purchased it custom made directly from the artists studio.

A great addition to your retro South Western style home decor or ceramic art collection.
