Antique Rockingham 19th C treacle glazed Lord Wellington memorial toby jug. Made in memorial of the Duke of Wellingtons death (1769-1852) who was the field marshal of Great Britain until his death. His passing was marked by a state funeral with all the usual adornments of a national military hero of the 19th century.

CONDITION

This memorial toby jug is in nice condition. There is a small chip to the base at the bottom of the back of the jug (please see all photographs as they form part of the listing description).
