Vintage small steamer travel trunk. this appears to be a hand made piece by a local tradesmen. Very well made with excess materials as attested by the inside writing of the chest which appears to be constructed from some produce or advertising boxes. This could date anywhere from the late 19th century to the early 20th century (1880-1920) and adjusted as necessary through time. It is fully functional with a great aesthetic look to it.

A fabulous addition to any eclectic home decor or a great housewarming gift idea.

Trunk measures 9" tall by 18" wide by 11" deep and weighs 10lb 11oz.

CONDITION

This trunk is in good condition closing tightly when the straps are buckled, there is fraying to the leather around the edges of the trunk and 2 small slits in the leather on the lid - please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description.
