Vintage WW1 US military trench art lamp. Manufactured from a heavily decorated brass artillery shell this antique lamp sits on top of a metal star which is suspended by double ended bullet cartridge feet. This piece of trench art has three lights which all work well with their original small red bulbs. The carved eagle depicted on the main shell is decorated with 8 stars on each wing.

Copper rotating band is marked EPF (perhaps the cartridge shell manufacturer)

This would make a great addition to your vintage military collectibles or eclectic home decor.

MEASUREMENTS:

Lamp measures 11" tall by 7.5" wide by 7.5" deep and weighs 3lb 7oz.

CONDITION

In good working condition considering age and use, one of the feet is slightly bent on the bottom but it does not detract from the piece. It may be advisable to replace the original cloth wire cord for safety reasons (please see all photographs as they form part of the listing description).
