Temperance Movement group of 5 Ohio WCTU Prohibition ribbons. This antique group of silk ribbons were worn by the WCTU and prohibition delegates at the annual conventions held in Ohio during the late 19th and early 20th century. They date from 1889, 1890, 1912, 1915, 1917. Two of the 5 silk ribbons have celluloid pin back buttons portraying the heads of important female figures in the movement, Mrs Mary Harris Armor (The Southern Joan of Arc) and one other unidentified lady.

A great addition to your temperance movement or religious medal collection, they would make a great gift for a birthday or Christmas.

MEASUREMENTS

Box measures 8.75“ wide by 6.75" tall by 1" deep and weighs 7.8oz.

CONDITION

All Temperance Movement items are in good used condition with signs of use commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
