Vintage original limited first edition book called Reminiscences by Douglas MacArthur. Printed in 1964 by McGraw Hill, in a limited edition of 1000, this is number 702. Autographed by Jean MacArthur with a facsimile signature by Douglas MacArthur (MacArthur died before he could sign this special edition). Lg. 8vo., 438pp., illustrated with photographs many of which are in color. A fine copy in its original publishers near fine buff slipcase. Issued without a dust jacket.

Also included with the book is a copy of one of MacArthurs favorite poems, Youth by Samuel Ullman along with a first day issue of the Douglas MacArthur 6c stamp. Also included is an emergency 5 peso note issued on May 1st at Hoilo City, Phillipines.

A great addition to any vintage 1st edition book or US military collection.
