Antique wooden oak and metal Edwardian humidor. Dating to around 1900/1910 this antique humidor is ornately decorated with art nouveau metal corners. The white metal fret work decor is repeated on the locking mechanism with the word cigars ornately scripted in metal on the top of the box. When opened it reveals a metal lining inside with accommodation at the back for a hygrometer along with an aeration grill on the inside lid. There is no makers mark on this vintage humidor which suggests that it was custom made perhaps as a gift for someone of rank.

CONDITION

In good condition considering age and use. There is a small split in the wood across the lid under the word cigar from one end of the box to the other - please see all pictures as they form part of the description.
