Vintage original oil on canvas painting by renowned French artist Gustav Nebel (1906 - 1987) Bright colors abound from this interior view looking out of an "Antique Shop", the light in the background intimating a sunny day. Typical but somewhat staged ideal of an antique store depicting chandeliers, microscopes, art, bureaus and a fantastic metal spiral staircase, all quality objects one would expect to encounter in a high end antique store.

Aptly framed this artwork does not have any date on it but illustrates a competent and experienced hand so most likely dates to the later part of his life.

Signed lower right "Nebel", signed again and titled on verso.
