Cold War Era Crouse Hinds Co Metal Military Phone
Vintage retro phone made by the Crouse Hinds Co. Aluminum metal telephone dating to the 1950's/60's cold war era. Known as an explosion proof phone these all encompassed isolation telephone were placed in hazardous areas which may generate a spark or potential hazard, on an oil tanker, nuclear power station or gas works platform. This telephone has no dial to ring out as it was part of an internal system that was sent through a central operator in order to use.
A great addition to your military phones collection. This would make a great unique gift for a birthday or store warming gift.
Marked: CH logo on either side of the front (with a 2 in front of it on one side)

Industrial hazard phone measures 11" long by 7.25" wide by 9.25" tall (receiver measures 8.5" long) and weighs 17lb 7oz in total.
In good condition with signs of use commensurate with age. There are some scratches to the back of the metal on the phone and some small dents on the front (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
