Antique Cavalry Military Helmet - First West Yorkshire Yeomanry Militaria -1870's
Antique full metal Victorian cavalry military helmet as worn by the first West Yorkshire yeomanry during the 1870's. It is can original well worn piece of Victorian armor militaria which has dents and dings but still retains almost all of its original adornments. The liner is present as is the horsehair grey plume.

Item measures 10“ long by 7.25“ wide by 12" tall and weighs 1lb 14oz
In good condition with some dents to the metal commensurate with age considering it is a Victorian piece. One side of the rim looks like it was the subject of a prior repair (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). Missing its front decor and chin strap this is a decorative piece only even though it could be worn as decorative headwear. The plume is not secured tightly on top of the helmet.
