Victorian Beacon Light Reform Club Temperance Medal by John Harriott, Boston
Antique gold washed anti alcohol presentation temperance movement religious medal presented to Walter H Miller as an appreciation of his faithful services in the Temperance reform club. This 4 piece medal was presented on September 17th 1892. Imprinted on the back of the pin is the medal-makers name John Harriott Boston. Mr. Harriott was a reputed silversmith, enameler, engraver and jeweler from Boston, Massachusetts (located at 3 Winter Street) in the late 19th century as is illustrated by the quality of this piece.
A fabulous anti alcohol temperance movement collectible religious medal.
Religious medal measures 4.5“ long by almost 2“ wide.
The presentation box measures 5.5" long by3" wide by 0.75" deep and weighs 3.4oz.
In good condition (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description) with light wear to the gold wash.
