Boxed set of 10 items dating from the 1890's to 1900's. Temperance movement subsidiary organization the Catholic Total Abstinence Union of America was established in 1872 in Baltimore , Maryland. It promoted the pledge in abstaining from alcohol. This collection of ribbons were worn by representatives and delegates at the annual conventions.
