Vintage WW2 Chelsea Mark I Deck Clock Brass Nickel Plated US Navy Black Face
Authentic working World War II vintage ship’s deck clock made for the U.S. Navy by the Chelsea clock company. The black dial is marked "MARK I DECK CLOCK U.S. NAVY 10079 1941” in the center, then “CHELSEA.” below the 6. The metal case is unmarked. Currently working well and although the key is missing it can be wound up using a number 6 key which was used to test it.
This would make a great birthday gift, nautical man cave gift or housewarming gift.
Clock case measures 8" diameter by 3" deep and weighs 6lb 4oz.
This clock is in good condition considering age and use. It does keep time well and runs strong when wound but I would recommend having the movement cleaned to ensure proper time is kept. No key is included and the mounting base is not present (but it winds with a number 6) and there is some scratching to the metal where the brass is coming through and glass case has been marked perhaps by a fall (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
