Vintage WW2 Seth Thomas Mark I Deck Clock Brass Nickel Plated US Navy 1940
Authentic working World War II vintage ship’s clock made for the U.S. Maritime Commission by the Seth Thomas clock company. The black dial is marked “MARK I DECK CLOCK U.S. NAVY N 2071, 1940” in the center, then “Made By Seth Thomas In U.S.A.” below the 6. The metal case is unmarked. Currently working well and complete with key.
This would make a great birthday gift, nautical man cave gift or housewarming gift.
Clock case measures 8.5" diameter (face measures 5.3") by 3" deep and weighs 15lb 5oz.
This clock is in good condition considering age and use. It does keep time well and runs strong when wound but I would recommend having the movement cleaned to ensure proper time is kept. There is some scratching to the metal and glass case (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
