WW2 German Militaria Wooden Award Cross
German WW2 memorabilia wooden memorial cross in the shape and style of a German Iron cross commemorating the life Grenadier Karl Ludwig who was killed in action in Finland on july 7th 1941, aged 20. In this German militaria award cross he is pictured in civilian clothes with horses in the middle of the cross surrounded by a wreath. Ehre seinem Andenken means honor his memory.
This piece was meant to be displayed on a wall via the loop or as a stand alone piece on a mantel via the wooden support at the back.
