1930s Glass Pinch Whiskey Decanter 3 Kings George 5th Edward 8th George 6th
DESCRIPTION
A rare triangular pinch style glass decanter dating to c1937. Complete with its original crown stopper it is cut and engraved with Irish shamrocks, English roses and Scottish thistles and Irish shamrocks on the ridges to represent the United Kingdom. The three panels commemorates the Jubilee of George V in 1935 , the abdication of Edward VIII in 1936 and the coronation of George VI in 1937.
Made by Royal Brierly in England with their stamp on the base which has worn off.
MEASUREMENTS
Decanter measures 10" tall by 5" wide by 5" deep and weighs in total 2lb 11oz.
