DESCRIPTION

Original 1920s British naval military travel box. Manufactured to house hats and accessories for naval officers in the 19th and early 20th century. Superbly lined in its original copper this tin was the property of a Lt R N Gibb of the Royal Navy. This box dates to the 1920s. This still retains its original travel labels from various trips during the 1940's/50s. The Japanning is also still present throughout.
