Antique 19th C French Military Binoculars ~ Le Maire Paris
Antique late 19th century or early 20th century French brass and bakelite binoculars. Manufactured by the Le Maire company of Paris these were popular binoculars for the sporting especially horse racing crowd as well as the military. The optics are clear and move in and out of focus well albeit a little stiff.
This would make a great addition to any antique working binocular or French WW1 collection. Stylish and functional these are a must for the gentleman's accessory.
Binoculars measure closed 6" long by 5" wide by 2.5" deep weigh 1lb 10z.
In good working condition throughout with wear and tear commensurate with age and missing their leather grips where the verdigris is exposed (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
