Art Deco 8" x 10" Picture Frame & Maurice Seymour Photo

  • $ 13500

Art Deco glass painted photo frame. This vintage photograph frame has a painted black and green geometric border typical of the 1930's along with 4 metal corner brackets for protection. This was originally a tabletop frame but the leather stand piece is long gone and a hanging loop on the back has replaced it. The image contained within is of a starlet (that resembles Vivian Leigh) photographed by the famous brothers Maurice and Seymour Zeldman in their Chicago studio. The Feldman brothers were prolific and esteemed photographers to the stars from the 1920's up until the 1970's and signed all of their photographs Maurice Seymour.

A great addition to your Art Deco or silver screen photograph collection.
