DESCRIPTION

Art Deco style chalkware figure of a female archer. Reminiscent of the huntress Diana this vintage chalkware sculpture by Alexander Backer was probably executed in the 1950s. She is complete with bow and metal arrow poised to shoot in a casual pose. Signed on the back of the plinth the paint is in superb condition with the delicate dulcet tones adding to her demure.

A great addition to your art deco home decor. This would make a great unique gift for a birthday or store warming gift.

Art deco style statue measures 13.5" long by 3.75" wide by 5.75" tall and weighs 3lb 5oz in total.

CONDITION

In good condition with signs of use commensurate with age. The septum of he nose appears to be missing paint (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
