Vintage aviation collectible. Heavy iron building sign advertising Birdsboro hydraulics, a company that made parts for the aviation industry. This originally was on the outside of their building in Birdsboro ,PA. The company was established in 1740 when land was purchased by William Bird who built several forges in the area that one day would be named in his honor was rapidly established as one of the leading industrial centers in the county. A great addition to any advertising or industrial sign collection especially from such an esteemed and old iron making firm. This sign dates from the 1950's.

MEASUREMENTS

This vintage aviation sign measures 36.5" long by 16.25" tall by 1.5" deep and weighs over 50lbs.

CONDITION

This vintage aviation sign is in good condition with some signs of use commensurate with age. There are several chips to the cast iron and the paint work is as is in the photographs (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
