DESCRIPTION

Vintage 1950's mid century working automaton bird clock. Caged mechanical wind up clock was made in the early 1950's in occupied Japan (1945- 1952). The bird rotates to keep the time in seconds with a dial pointing to the quarterly and hourly increments on the ball above. The cage can be removed easily from the suspended stand and be displayed flat on a table.

Clock measures 8.25“ tall by 3.6" wide by 6" deep and weighs 1lb 5oz.

CONDITION
