Vintage movie memorabilia painted costume sketch (the paint looks like watercolor paint). One of a kind piece of 1950s film memorabilia of the esteemed WW2 era actress Greer Garson. This is a scene sketch drawn by the set or costume designer (initials ML which may well be Melvyn LeRoy the films director and producer who had experience in costumes also) for approval to the board or censors. Note have been made on it for changes to be applied such as closing her front in case it is deemed inappropriate.

It is noted on the image as a "close front" and "change #2 and #14" and the reference number "7326-813"

This was recently acquired at the estate of costume designer Jack Delaney for Warner Brothers studio.

Eileen Evelyn Greer Garson Fogelson, CBE, was an Anglo-American actress who was very popular during the Second World War, being listed by the Motion Picture Herald as one of America's top-ten box office draws from 1942 to 1946.

Strange Lady in Town was a 1955 Western movie about a 19th-century doctor meets with public resistance when she tries to establish a medical practice in Santa Fe.
