Antique Victorian cast iron juice press. Made in the USA by Landers Frary & Clark Columbia around 1890's this meat press was an essential piece of kitchen equipment in its day. Vintage cast iron kitchen utensil used in the preparation of small game and foul. The meat was placed in the pan and pressed until all the juice came out which was then re poured over the meat just prior to serving which ensure the flavor stayed fresh and the meat moist after cooking.
