  • $ 4500

DESCRIPTION

Vintage pair of plaster eagle statue bookends clad in a thin dip of bronze and painted gold by the PM Craftsman company to mark the bicentennial celebration of American Independence in 1976.

Known as bronze cladding they feel metallic due to the covering but are plaster inside. The eagle statues are superbly cast with a patriotic spread eagle atop a plinth with the date 1776.

These bookends are both marked PMC with the mold number 1148 for this casting on the back and with complete labels and description underneath.

These would make a great addition to any library, office space or desk as a decorative and functional set of book ends.
