Original WW2 Era Brass Binnacle Sestrel Compass English Naval Equipment Nautical
DESCRIPTION
Vintage WW2 era brass binnacle housing a small sestrel compass. Designed for use on a small boat this transportable compass original contained an oil lamp in its side compartment for viewing the compass at night. This lightweight functional compass was made in England in the 1940s. This would be easy to rewire and be ideal as an accent light in a seaside cottage or man cave bar area.

Binnacle measures 9" tall by 10" wide by 9" thick and weighs 7lb 2oz.
CONDITION
In good working condition and ready to display but missing its oil lamp reservoir and light (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
