Antique Temperance movement pin back celluloid badge button. Rare celluloid Boston Baked Beans souvenir sponsored by the CTAU of A. This pin back button depicts the hearty sober man sitting down to a huge bowl of beans and drinking from a cold water cup to signify his membership to the cold water army. The Catholic Temperance Association Union of America promoted sober living with prohibition being its main drive.
