Antique Victorian Folding Carriage Cream Parasol Ebony Handle Sunbrella 1870s
DESCRIPTION
Antique Victorian folding carriage parasol. This beautiful parasol i made form an ebony shaft that folds up in the middle for easy storage and is topped with a cream linen as the shade. Dating to around the mid to late 1870s this carriage parasol was designed to keep the sun off a lady as she rode in the carriage. This is unmarked as these were generic items usually made for a number of outfitters at the time.
A fabulous addition to your retro home decor, Victorian or parasol collection or a great housewarming gift idea.
MEASUREMENTS
The parasol measures 26" long by 0.5" thick by 3" wide at the handle and weighs 54.8oz . Folded it measures 14" long.
CONDITION
In good condition considering age and use with a 2" tear on the linen material - please see all pictures as they form part of the description.
