Antique Arts and Crafts inkwell desk set. Wooden base made in an oval shape with a kidney shape insert as a pen tray. The cut glass inkwell has a silver plated top and appears to be a later addition as the cut out seems to be roughly hewn from the base. The decorative metal on the base is not marked as silver but tests fro sterling. Dating to the turn of the last century we believe this piece was made by a local artisan as a gift rather than mass produced due to its unusual shape.

This would make a great addition to your vintage office, library or Victorian home decor.

Desk set measures 3.75“ tall by 10.5" wide by 7.75" deep and weighs 1lb 8oz.

CONDITION

This set is in good used condition with some signs of use. The wood has some signs of aging particularly in the en storage area. The glass inkwell has some small chips to the edging (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
