1925 Bronze Medal The Long Bell Lumber Co Medallion
Vintage The Long Bell Lumber company small medal. Commemorating the fiftieth anniversary this small bronze medallions struck in1925 for the Long-Bell Lumber Co. Robert A Long (1850-1934) founded the company in the 1870s in Columbus, Kansas. He was a land tycoon and many landmarks in Kansas are named after him. This coin was made by the famous metal sculptor Julio Kilenyi (1885-1959) who was also commissioned by the 1939 NY Worlds Fair, the 1932 Olympics and many presidents.
