1930's signed Boris O Klein Canine Hand Colored Print - "Eternels Ennemis"
Framed hand-colored lithograph "Eternels Ennemis" by Boris O Klein in the 1930's. Famous for his dog pieces Boris O Klein was a great humorist whose main art themes were (1) public urination; and (2) male-female flirtation or desire. This scene depicts cats on the wall exacting urinary revenge on a row of dogs who had previously peed on them. This is signed and titled on the bottom of the print in pencil by the artist.
The numerous scenes by O'Klein of dogs lined up against walls or beside trees to urinate are part of what gives the prints their incendiary appeal for some viewers.
A great piece of collective signed art in excellent condition ready to hang, this would suit any dog collectors or French humorist artists living room, bedroom or library.
