19th C Religious Plaster Bust Shadow Box
Vintage framed plaster sculpture of a mans bust. He appears to be a clergy member, perhaps a cardinal or pope judging by the cassock and zucchetto clothing. He appears to be a classic 17th century figure judging by his profile and facial hair. This chalk ware medallion is not marked anywhere so it is difficult to date. The shadow box and the backing would intimate the 19th century for a date.
A great addition to your vintage home decor or as a miniature collectable.
