Antique 1909 Flash Lamp Photography Agfa Lamp
Antique 1909 pattern magnesium camera flash lamp with bakelite handle. Manufactured in German by the Agfa company between 1918 and 1923 in Germany. The flash lamp is marked DRP (German patent mark) 230110 and contained the magnesium. It worked through the internal clockwork mechanism that rotated a wheel and struck the flint. The prongs on the outside activated the flint wheel when pulled either directly or using a piece of string.

Flash lamp measures 2.75" wide by 2.25" deep by 7" long and weighs 5.8oz. The magnesium flash container is about 2 1/2 inches wide.
In nice condition with some small marks to the metal commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
