Temperance Movement button badge to commemorate a high officer visit from England to its Australian chapters in July 1922. The Independent Order of Rechabites was a Temperance movement established in England in 1835 as part of a friendly society which promoted total abstinence of alcohol and had a chapter in Australia since 1843.

A great addition to your rare pin button collection of temperance movement collection. This was part of a large Temperance estate comprising mostly 19th century piece from Britain, Ireland, Canada and the USA.
Pin Button measures 1.25"diameter and weighs 0.1 oz.
In good condition with signs of use commensurate with age. This pin button is missing its original pin on the back (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
