DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th C silver plate on copper dish platter. Highly ornate large dish with heavy repousse work throughout depicting swirling acanthus decor culminating in the center to an illuminated North Wind Gods face. Stupendous detail throughout displays the craftsmanship of the late 19th C which would be expected from a high end maker like WMF or Elkington. A great decorative item which would suit any type of property.
Marked on the reverse: Indecipherable marks look like WMF markings
This would make a great birthday gift, man cave gift or housewarming gift.
