Antique Asian Wooden Art Sculpture Three Star Gods Polychromed Red Black Gold
DESCRIPTION
Vintage camphor wood carved sculpture of the Chinese three Star Gods. Complete with original polychrome paint and lacquered this sculpture depicts the Three Star Gods, Fu (Good Fortune), Lu (Prosperity), and Shou (Longevity) standing in elaborately embellished robes. Beautifully detailed theseGods which sit on their own independent decorated plinth have some age to them but it is not possible to date them accurately although they most likely date to the early 20th century.
MEASUREMENTS
Wood carving on its plinth measures 8.5" deep by 9" wide by 14" tall and weighs 6lb 8oz.
CONDITION
In good condition with wear and tear to the paint commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
