Antique Bryant & Mays Match Holder Striker by F Eldings
Vintage Bryant & Mays match holder/striker. Manufactured by F Eldings in Stoke on Trent, England in the 1920's/30's this advertising porcelain striker was made from the British pub market of the period. The match is struck on the main ridged body of where they are stored. This is one of the more aesthetically beautiful advertising match strikes to have been made. It was part of a large collection purchased from a match strike and inkwell collector recently.
