DESCRIPTION

Antique carpenters plough plane. Most likely made by C J Smith and Co of Cincinnatti, Ohio this wooden plough plane is in working order and retains its original blade. The wood appears to be maple or beech which resonates that rich buttery feel to it. A beautiful practical as well as aesthetic tool that would suit any collection either for use or for display. This piece dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.

Plane measures 14" long by blade is 8" wide by 6" tall and weighs 3lb 7oz.
