DESCRIPTION
Antique green glazed ceramic Chinese ginger jar. This antique large round open pot is traditionally used for storing ginger in a kitchen. This antique pot has a partial green glaze throughout and is decorated with animals, dragon motifs and floral decor. The two nub handles are Foo dog designs and it most likely dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.
A great addition to any vintage ceramic, culinary or Chinese collection.
MEASUREMENTS
Glazed ginger jar measures 8" wide by 7.25" deep by 6" tall and weighs 3lb.
CONDITION
Ginger jar is in functional condition and ready to display. There are scuffs to the edge and glaze commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
