DESCRIPTION
Antique red glazed ceramic Chinese ginger/oil jar. This antique sealed round open pot is traditionally used for storing oil in a kitchen. This antique pot has a beautiful red glaze throughout and is decorated intricately with floral decor. The bottom and top are decorated with beautiful patterns in blue, green and yellow. It most likely dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.
A great addition to any vintage ceramic, culinary or Chinese collection.
MEASUREMENTS
Sealed ginger jar measures 5" wide by 5" deep by 5" tall and weighs 3lb.
CONDITION
Ginger jar is in functional condition and ready to display. There is a large crack right through the piece on the glaze. Signs commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
