Antique Primitive Wooden Mahogany Cabinet Case With Secret Drawers
Antique primitive inlaid wooden cabinet with secret set of drawers. Hardwood cabinet is inlaid with light woods in the shape of a compass star on either side of the door, the inlaid banding is repeated on either panel and the front door. The back panel is slightly chamfered and lifts up to reveal the 6 secret drawers on the inside which are hidden when viewed from the front. This primitive cabinet dates from the mid to late 19th century and is constructed from either mahogany or rosewood.
This would make a great birthday gift or housewarming gift. This would also make a great jewelry box.
Box measures 10.25" wide by 9.25" deep by 10.5" tall and weighs 2lb 7oz.
In good condition considering age and use. There is a small split in one of the door and some signs of use on the corners of the base (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
