Antique Victorian Cased English Sterling Silver Salt Cellars & Spoons 1889 H & T
DESCRIPTION
Vintage pair of sterling silver English cased salt cellars and spoons. Dating to 1889 these stunning sterling silver salts were made in Birmingham by the distinguished firm of Hilliard & Thomason. Perfectly plain on the main body these salt cellars are simple in design typical of the late Victorian period.
Hallmarked: H & T ( Hilliard & Thomason) Anchor (Birmingham city mark) lion passant (sterling mark) p (year mark 1889)
A great addition to any English sterling silver, table ware or cased collection. These would make a great early birthday or housewarming gift.
MEASUREMENTS
Cased set measures 1.5" tall by 3.25" wide by 6.5" long and weigh 10.8oz. The actual weight of silver is 1.4oz.
