Antique Wooden Coffee Grinder Vintage Primitive Wood Hand Crank Herb Mill 1880s
Antique primitive wooden hand crank coffee grinder. Dating to the late 1880's this essential piece of kitchenalia ground the freshly roasted coffee beans to perfection without burning the beans. The fineness of the grind can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the nut on top. Beautifully constructed using finger jointing which was more symmetrical and more aesthetically pleasing to the eye it still retains the Victorian hardware of the cast iron handle and hopper top.

Grinder measures 6" wide (8.5" to handle) by 6" deep by 10.25" tall and weighs 3lb 8oz.
This grinder is in good working condition. The original label on the front and on the inside of the door show wear and is unreadable. There is a piece of the wooden base lip broken off at the back (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
