Art Nouveau Jenning Brothers Mantel Clock
Antique art nouveau brass and glass mantel clock. Manufactured in Bridgeport Connecticut during the late 19th century by the Jennings Brothers, this enamel faced table clock marked J B co, is constructed from beveled glass sides encased by brass. The top and bottom are ornately cast with typical art nouveau floral accents. This fully functional art nouveau clock has an open escapement, beautifully ornate pendulum along with a skeletal mechanism which can be viewed from all sides. The mantel clocks movement includes a chime on each hour and the half hour.
A great addition to your horological collection, this would grace any living room, mantel or bedroom as a working clock.
Item measures 8“ wide by 6.75“ deep by 13.25“ tall and weighs almost 11 lbs.
In good used working condition with signs of use commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
