WW2 Japanese Occupation Wax Seal Stamp
Vintage WW2 memorabilia Japanese occupation officials wax seal stamp / chop mark in original crocodile case with sealing wax.
The jitsuin hanko is made from a combination of bone and agate. This was an government officials seal to be placed on documents, I cannot understand what the chop mark means but it came from the estate of a war veteran who I assumed was involved in the Pacific campaign during WW2.
This vintage wax seal stamp is a great functional piece of history as well as a fabulous piece of WW2 memorabilia.
Item measures 2.8“ long by 1.25“ wide by 0.5“ deep and weighs 1.6oz
This wax seal stamp is in good condition (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description)
