These would make a great addition to your country home decor or primitive home decor. These are not only aesthetically pleasing but functionless storage containers (but could probably benefit from a rubber ring ensure an airtight fit).
Antique earthenware jars measure (larges to smallest):
9" tall by 5.75" base diameter
7.75" tall by 4.25" base diameter
7.6" tall by 4.25" base diameter
5.5" tall by 3.5" base diameter
all together they weigh 8lbs 11oz
In good condition with signs of use commensurate with age and chipping to the lids from the metal closing mechanism. The large jar is missing small piece on the base from the original firing process but does not compromise the structural integrity of its function. The closing mechanism is tight and in good working order on them all (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
