DESCRIPTION

Vintage French advertising ceramic match striker and holder. Vintage cafe match strike made by for Dubonnet liquor. This most likely dates from the 1960's, being a remake of the earlier le Pyrogene models of the 1920's/30's and the presence of the match strike at the bottom of the piece. It was part of a large collection purchased from a match strike and inkwell collector recently.

Marked on top: Grand Prix 1900 Dubonnet

This would suit any living room or smoking parlor, be used on a dining room table as a toothpick or candle holder when entertaining. A great housewarming or early holiday gift idea.
