Vintage Advertising Putnam Dyes General Store Countertop Display Tin Cabinet 40s
Vintage advertising Putnam Dyes general store metal display cabinet dating to the 1940's era. Decorated on three sides with advertising for Putnam dyes, it depicts General Putnam beating a hasty retreat form the British redcoat forces during the Revolutionary war. This was also a counter top display unit on the other side for the many variations of dye colors produced by the Monroe Chemical company.
This would make a great addition to your advertising or sewing collection.
Case measures 19.5" wide to handles by 5.75" deep by 18" tall and weighs 5lb 11oz.
This store display is in nice condition. There is some chipping to the paint and a piece missing from the side of the top of the back (it looks like the guarantee has been cut off). There are some small areas of rust on the metal (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
