DESCRIPTION

Vintage glass Guerlain Imperial Bee perfume bottle . Made in Paris, France this relief decorated bottle depicts the Royal French Bee throughout and would hold 8.5 fluid ounces of cologne when full. The Royal Bee was the imperial mark of the Emperors of the Franks as used by Napoleon in the 19th century.

Since it's creation for the empress Eugenie Bonaparte, Eau de Cologne Imperiale has been bottled with distinctively decorated sculpted bees . A great addition to any vintage bottle, French vanity or perfume bottle collection. I believe this dates to the 1970's.
