DESCRIPTION

Original vintage woodcut print on paper by Fred Mason. Signed by the artist in pencil on the bottom right and titled on the bottom left David and Goliath this original woodcut print depicts the biblical struggle with the word David on the paper. The smaller figure on the left representing David holds a sling in his hand with arms outstretched in triumph over the much larger Goliath figure which lays slain across the bottom of the piece. Framed under glass this piece was recently acquired from the estate of an esteemed socialite in Los Angeles.

MEASUREMENTS

Print measures 24" tall by 18.5" wide and weighs 4lb 15oz.

CONDITION

In good condition considering age and use. As usual with hand done prints there are indistinct color smudges throughout as part of the process (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
